State legislators plan town hall meetings Saturday
Democratic State Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe and Reps. Luis Moscoso and Derek Stanford will hold town hall meetings Saturday in Mountlake Terrace and Bothell for discussion of issues facing the 2012 Legislature.
The meetings are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mountlake Terrace Library and 1 p. m. at the campus of the University of Washington-Bothell and Cascadia Community College.
Each meeting is scheduled to last 90 minutes.
The Mountlake Terrace Library is at 23300 58th Ave. W. in Mountlake Terrace. The Bothell meeting is at Mobius Hall in the Global Learning and the Arts Building CC3 on the Cascadia/UW-Bothell campus, 18345 Campus Way N.E.
McAuliffe, Moscoso and Stanford represent the 1st Legislative District, which now includes Brier, Bothell, most of Mountlake Terrace, Woodinville and nearby unincorporated areas of both Snohomish and King counties, and, with redistricting, will include Brier, Bothell, most of Mountlake Terrace, parts of King County reaching into Kirkland and unincorporated areas of Snohomish County north and east of Bothell.
